Olive Oil Grove Tour & Tasting (Daily)

Take a guided tour with Floris, step-father of the groom. He has an olive tree grove and has been making olive oil and balsamic the last few years. Learn about managing an olive tree grove, the difference between edible and oil olives, and try some local samples. Make sure to ask him about Polyphenols and try to get a straight answer on just how many trees he actually has ;) Meet in the Piazza at 4:30 PM and walk ~0.5 miles down the road to visit the grove. Finish the tour by sampling some local oils and balsamic at the Rastrello in town. Travel by Train

Italy's rail network is the easiest way to travel between cities. Download the Trenitalia app (https://tinyurl.com/trenitalia-app) to map your route and buy tickets - you can book in advance, too.Coming from Rome's Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO)? In the app, search From: Fiumicino Aeroporto To: Chiusi-Chianciano Terme. The quickest option is usually the express to Roma Termini, where you'll change trains for Chiusi-Chianciano Terme.

For our American friends, go to AAA to get an international driving permit so you're able to legally drive while in Italy.

YOU MUST HAVE AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVING PERMIT TO DRIVE IN ITALY

We recommend taking the train from your previous destination. The nearest station is located in nearby town, Chiusi, which is a short 20 minute drive from Panicale.
